Landscape photography has long been a hobby of mine. I love the unpradictability, the exploration, and the patience that makes me slow down to imagine, compose and craft an image. I find it to be a practice that helps me appreciate our environment even more; whether I'm hiking in a spectacular national park or the woods in my own neighborhood.
For me it's a balance of being in the right place at the right time, counting on the unexpected, patience, improvisation, and yes, willingness to carry all the gear you might need "just in case". There is no "perfect" landscape photo—just the right one.
I work with a mix of film and digital processes and tools, and strive to get as close to the perfect image as possible in-camera.
